Greenville, NC has been experiencing a heat wave!  Graduations are through, and now summertime has begun.  Congratulations to Ajsela graduating 3rd in her class!!!  Painting is complete here at the store (thanks to John & the girls), but renovations are still in process.  New lighting is coming and moving jewelry & cases around is the next step.  Enjoy the summer!

Congratluations to Jenni K for fulfilling her medical mini-internship provided by the Pitt Medical Society!  It was a two day event; the first day she was privileged to shadow her husband during a couple surgeries.

If any of you have visited our store recently, you have noticed that the store is turned upside-down and inside out.  We have decided that its time for a new and exciting change for the new 2008.  We are very excited to see not only the store change, but the website as well.  Please excuse us as we are trying to make these stimulating changes!  Even though the renovations are just beginning, we are continuing to participate in different shows.  This weekend is the 2008 Southern Women’s show in Raleigh North Carolina at the N.C. State Fairgrounds.  The show begins Friday April 25^th 2008 and our favorite people, Anna and Ashley will be at our #230 booth.  Come by and see us!!  We have lots of goodies!!!

It has been a while since the last blog…very busy around here!

Easter Holiday passed by, then we prepared for the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber of Commerce Business Expo in the Greenville Convention Center April 3, 2008.  Great community attendance – can’t wait until next year!!!

April 5, 2008 was the American Heart Association Gala where Jenni K. Jewelry was the Wine Sponsor.  That has always been a great event, especially when our own Kelly played in “Spare Change”, the band who provided the music for the event.  Great job Kelly!!!

This weekend is the PirateFest, which includes the International Festival, Uptown Arts Festival and the Pigskin Pigout.  Come see us at Booth #1 at the Uptown Arts Festival!  We will be having sale items, and of course our one-of-a-kind jewelry.

 Can you believe that St. Patrick’s Day has passed and Easter is just around the corner?  Seems that the year is passing by so quickly!!  This Sunday people all over the world will be celebrating Easter with their families, churches, and close friends for this special occasion.  Sometimes people will show their love and appreciation for someone through gifts during this season.  If you need a gift idea, come by the store and take advantage of our 35% sale on all jewelry (excludes Baby K & charms) or order online if you can’t come to our Greenville, NC location.

In addition to all the upcoming spring season events, the Pirates added another win to their season when they beat Elon College in Greenville, NC at the Clark Le-Clair Stadium on Tuesday night.  A couple of great home-runs and a grand-slam helped lead the Pirates into their victory.  In addition, the Pirates baseball team will begin the conference USA against Houston on Friday March 21^st at 7’oclock.  Be there to support the triumphant Pirates baseball team!!!

This is the perfect time of year.  The sun is shining longer, the temperature is refreshing, and it seems that people are in the spring mood.  These spring moments allow you to spend time outside and shed the cold days of the dark winter.  So while you’re out, remember we have a selection of pieces we put on the floor that are not catalog items that no one else will have and we will also contain our popular catalog/stock jewelry.  In addition, we are featuring a 35% sale on all jewelry except Baby K and charms.  This sale will last until March 24^th.

Jenni K is so excited to know that the East Carolina University Pirates’ baseball team has done it again.  Winning their 8^th game in a row; the team has shown their true pirate pride!  Be sure to see East Carolina University vs. Rhode Island at the Clark-Leclair Stadium in Greenville, North Carolina during the weekend of March 14^th. The Jenni K team will be cheering them on along with wearing their official ECU jewelry that is sold in the store.  Go PIRATES!!!!

ECU baseball is on a roll with a couple of wins versus Monmouth, and great game for the basketball team versus the Houston Cougars!!!
